The Russian government will allocate funds to 10 regions for grants to veterans of the special military operation (SVO) who have decided to open their own agribusiness. This was announced on July 7 by the country's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

"Starting this year, the assistance system has been supplemented with a grant, which can be received by veterans and retired participants in a special military operation. These funds will be used for the implementation of agricultural projects," Mishustin said.

According to him, 200 million rubles have already been allocated for these purposes, and 10 more regions of the country will receive appropriate funding: Adygea, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Crimea, Sakha, North Ossetia, the Republic of Tuva, Khakassia, Belgorod Region and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

"We hope that such measures will help our students find something to do and will help create new jobs in the Russian regions," the Prime Minister said.

On June 30, Mishustin announced that Russia was fine-tuning its support system for its participants. In addition, he noted that the Government of the Russian Federation supports the initiative of parliamentarians to exempt participants of their activities and their family members from paying state duty when applying to the court.
