The FSB detained a resident of Naberezhnye Chelny on suspicion of treason

The Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan has stopped the illegal activities of a resident of Naberezhnye Chelny, who, according to the agency, provided assistance to the Ukrainian special services. This was reported on July 7 in the press service of the department.

It is clarified that the investigative department of the FSB in Tatarstan has opened a criminal case against the defendant under part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of a terrorist organization") and Article 275 of the Criminal Code ("High treason").
