Putin appointed Nikitin as acting head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Andrey Nikitin as Acting Minister of Transport. This was announced on July 7 on the Kremlin's official website.

"In accordance with part 3 of Article 11 of the Federal Constitutional Law of November 6, 2020 No. 4-FKZ "On the Government of the Russian Federation", Andrey Nikitin should be entrusted with the duties of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation until the appointment of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation," the publication says.

It is specified that the decree comes into force "from the date of its signing."
