The IDF announced the start of Operation Black Flag against the Houthis

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the launch of the Black Flag military operation against the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement. This was announced on July 6 by the Ynet portal.

"The operation was called the Black Flag, during which the IDF dropped about 50 rockets and bombs on two ports, a merchant ship and a Houthi power plant," the publication said.

In addition, the Israeli Defense Minister threatened Yemen with the fate of Tehran.

On the same day, the IDF press service reported that Yemen had launched rockets towards Israel. This attack was intercepted by air defense systems and the Israeli Air Force (IAF). Later, Yahya Saria, a representative of the movement, announced a successful attack by the Yemeni armed forces on Ben Gurion airport.
