The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the work of UAV operators in the Sumy region

Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Tula Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) continue to destroy fortifications, weapons, military equipment, communications equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. Footage of combat work on July 7 was shown by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the calculations work in twos and threes, confirming and correcting the coordinates of the targets for impact. After the drone is launched, the second number adjusts its flight to accurately aim at the target. Drones hover in the air, fix the target and strike at Ukrainian facilities, destroying them, the Ministry of Defense added.

The ministry also stressed the successful use of reconnaissance and attack drones in tandem. They added that from the very beginning of the special operation, drones have proven themselves to be an indispensable means of reconnaissance, targeting and defeating artillery and armored targets of Ukrainian militants.

On July 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian army had attacked the infrastructure of the air base, as well as an enterprise manufacturing components for drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They added that Russian military personnel also attacked the storage sites of enemy drones and unmanned boats, ammunition depots and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian militants.
