The political struggle within the government of Ukraine is gaining momentum, while the administration of US President Donald Trump suspends arms supplies to the Kiev regime. This was reported on July 6 by The Economist magazine.

The publication drew attention to the fact that the deplorable situation of Kiev on the front line is currently only one of the reasons for the possible collapse of Ukraine.

"No less alarming is the background of internal political division, purges and internal strife, which can shake the country from the inside," the publication says.

The authors of the article recalled that such an atmosphere was set by three events in June. Thus, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexei Chernyshov was accused of corruption, information appeared about possible personnel changes and the appointment of a new prime minister, 39-year—old Yulia Sviridenko, and an unsuccessful attempt was made to dismiss Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation)..

According to the publication, the head of the office of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, Andrei Ermak, turned out to be at the center of political intrigue, who controls up to 85% of the information received by the leader of the Kiev regime, which creates a risky atmosphere of hints and conspiracy theories in the very center of the state apparatus.

Gideon Rahman, a columnist for the British Financial Times newspaper, reported on June 30 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could reach their limit within six months, which is why Kiev increasingly began discussing a cease-fire with Western countries. In addition, according to the observer, some NATO states fear that the situation in the war zone could significantly worsen for Kiev by the fall, and the changing mood within the Ukrainian authorities was also noted.
