Three people were injured when a gas-air mixture exploded in Dagestan
Three people were burned as a result of a gas-air mixture explosion in the city of Khasavyurt in the Republic of Dagestan. This was announced on July 6 by the regional prosecutor's office.
"According to preliminary data, on July 6, 2025, at about 11 a.m. (coincides with Moscow time. — Ed.), in the utility room of a car wash in the city of Khasavyurt, there was a pop of a gas—air mixture due to a leak from a gas cylinder," the agency said in a Telegram channel.
They added that as a result of the incident, three people received burns of varying severity. The Prosecutor's Office has begun checking compliance with safety regulations at the facility, in particular, when using gas equipment.
In the Jewish Autonomous Region on July 3, one person was injured when household gas exploded in a five-story building. It was clarified that he received burns to his limbs.
