The Air Defense Forces have eliminated a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky over the Novgorod region. This was announced on July 6 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Dronov.

"One UAV was shot down over the territory of the Novgorod region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Dronov thanked the representatives of the Russian fighter aviation and the air defense unit for their professional work in repelling this attack, and also urged residents not to film drone flights and the work of the Russian Armed Forces.
