Soldiers of the Center group of forces told about the combat work of the Nona SVK mortar

Military personnel of the Nona SVK mortar crew of the Center group of forces destroy dugouts, military equipment and personnel of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The footage of the work was shown by Izvestia.

In battle, the gunners from Tuva use not only their talents and the power of guns, but also secret techniques. So, they conduct a dialogue in their native language, which, even if the conversation is intercepted, will not allow the enemy to understand the essence. After successfully hitting the targets, the crew goes into hiding. The main advantage of the Nona SVK machine is the speed with which it can change positions to attack.

"We are working on the accumulation of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, dugouts. <...> The intelligence bird is working — it transmits data to us, and we work. <...> We arrived, if the position was worked out, fired back and immediately left," said Junior Sergeant Pavel Grigoriev, commander of the Nona SVK cannon of the Guard.

In order to remain unnoticed while moving to the firing point, military personnel install electronic warfare (EW) equipment and fire cover on the vehicles, which monitors the sky. When the car returns to the shelter, ammunition is loaded into it first, the serviceman noted.

"We use guns to hit stronghold targets, we work on their infantry, we hit moving targets, we hit lightly armored vehicles. It is highly accurate, we shoot from the first or second shot, we immediately hit like a sniper rifle," said Salgal Sodunam, commander of the battery.

The crew of the Nona SVK often uses the tactics of a nomadic mortar, and thanks to the wheeled base of the armored personnel carrier, it can move very quickly from point A to point B. Therefore, the gun can shoot back from one position, then change it and open fire again, which does not allow the AFU militants to understand where they are working from, emphasized Izvestia correspondent Alexander Safiulin.

"The rate of fire is up to 10 rounds per minute. And there can be several such mobile tools in operation at once, it is impossible to keep track of each one," he said.

Units of the Center group of forces are currently advancing along the entire sector of the front. They are attacking in the area of the villages of Rodinskoye, Novoeconomicheskoe, Boykovka, Grodovka and the city of Krasnoarmeysk. The crews of the Nona SVK mortar are taking an active part in this.

On July 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that artillery crews of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the dugouts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Yuzhnodonets direction in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It was noted that the gunners carried out targeted strikes with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
