The Ministry of Defense announced the advance of the Russian Armed Forces after the liberation of Poddubny in the DPR

After the liberation of the Poddubnoye settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Vostok group of troops continues to advance and push the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) out of fortified positions. Footage of the work of Russian military personnel was published on July 6 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In the video, you can see how the Russian military managed to break through the defenses and liberate the village of Poddubnoye, despite the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants occupied advantageous positions. Artillery calculations and unmanned aircraft of the Vostok carried out continuous strikes on enemy firing positions.

"After mopping up buildings and basements, the motorized rifle units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade unfurled the flags of the Russian Federation to mark the liberation of the settlement from Ukrainian formations," the report says.

After that, the Russian military began to mine the area from explosive objects. The Ministry of Defense also noted that the Vostok group continues to push back the enemy, seize trophies and capture the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
