The next rotation of the IAEA observers took place at the Zaporizhia NPP


The next rotation of observers of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) took place at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). This was reported on July 6 in the Telegram channel of the NPP.
"The 29th IAEA observer team consists of three inspectors. Their task, as before, is to monitor and assess the operational safety of the plant," the message says.
Security during the rotation of the agency's observers was provided by the military of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Rosgvardiya and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Zaporozhye region.
The NPP also recalled that the IAEA experts have been working at the plant since September 1, 2022.
On June 30, a group of IAEA inspectors inspected the site of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on employees of the NPP. So, the agency's employees examined the scene and the official car damaged as a result of the drone strike.
