Rosaviatsia announced the cancellation of more than 170 flights at Sheremetyevo Airport.

At Sheremetyevo airport, 171 flights were canceled for arrival and departure, 56 more were delayed. This was announced on July 6 by the official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako in his Telegram channel.

"As of 18:00 Moscow time, 171 flights have been canceled for arrival and departure at Sheremetyevo. Remain detained (more than two hours) There are 56 flights on departure. In the period from 18 to 21:00 Moscow time, 65 flights are scheduled to depart from Terminal B, 11 flights from Terminal C. 15,000 passengers are preparing for departure, undergoing pre—flight procedures," his Telegram channel says.

According to Korenyako, the situation is manageable. The Russian air transport system copes with interference that occurs periodically from the outside. Airlines also have sufficient resources to operate under the circumstances, Korenyako added.

As the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency noted, flights from five airports located in Ivanovo, Kaluga, Pskov, St. Petersburg, and Tambov are temporarily unavailable at the moment. Such measures were introduced to ensure flight safety.

So, at Pulkovo airport at 18:00 Moscow time, there are restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft. A total of 90 flights were cancelled. In addition, 37 flights were delayed for departure.

"The unified operational headquarters with representatives of the airport and airlines are taking measures to stabilize the schedule. To prevent the accumulation of passengers in the "clean zone", passenger access is temporarily restricted," Korenyako said.
