Air defense forces destroyed 39 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions

Air defense systems shot down 39 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia. This was announced on July 6 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 08.30 Moscow time to 14.00 Moscow time, 39 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of an airplane type were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty," the department said in a Telegram channel.

So, 21 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, seven over the Oryol region, and six over the Tula region. Two more drones were destroyed over the Belgorod and Kursk regions and one UAV over the Kaluga region.

The new radar has compact dimensions and high mobility.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that during the night, the air defense forces shot down 120 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Russian regions. Of these, 30 drones were shot down in the sky over the Bryansk region.,
