The development of transport infrastructure continues in the Danilovsky district of Moscow. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, spoke about the ongoing work in his Telegram channel.
Currently, there are three metro stations and two stations of the Moscow Central Ring operating in the district. The ZIL station of the Troitskaya line is expected to open in the near future. It will be located near Lisitsky Street, on the territory of the former industrial zone of the same name.
To ensure comfortable access to the new station, it is planned to organize convenient walking routes, as well as adjust traffic patterns and the location of ground public transport stops.
The total amount of road work will be 4.6 km. The project provides for the construction and reconstruction of a road network, including Letnikovskaya Street, 2nd and 3rd Kozhevnicheskiy Lanes, as well as Derbenevskaya Street.
Additionally, work is planned on sections of the adjacent embankments: Derbenevskaya, Danilovskaya, Paveletskaya and Sluzovaya.
The implementation of the project will provide developing residential areas with the necessary transport infrastructure, increase the connectivity of residential areas and reduce the load on the existing road network of the district.
