The Swiss Embassy in Tehran has resumed its work.

The Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Iran, which also traditionally represents the interests of the United States in the Islamic Republic, resumed its work after the end of the Israeli-Iranian escalation. This was reported on July 6 by the Reuters news agency, citing a statement from the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
"Ambassador Nadine Olivieri Lozano and a small group returned to Tehran overland via Azerbaijan. The embassy will gradually resume its activities," the statement said.
The Bern Embassy in Tehran temporarily shut down on June 20 during the ongoing Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory strikes by the Islamic Republic.
On June 24, US President Donald Trump announced the entry into force of an agreement related to a complete cease-fire between Israel and Iran. Later, the latter confirmed the truce.
Later, the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Peseshkian, assured that the Iranian side would not abandon the cease-fire if Israel did not violate its terms.
