Airports where restrictions have been lifted are gradually entering the planned operating mode, airline flights are serviced according to the daily plan. This was announced on July 6 by the Russian Ministry of Transport.
They noted that on this day, the head of the department, Roman Starovoit, was informed about the work of the country's air harbors. At the moment, there are no mass gatherings at airports, but queues remain at ticket offices, and the situation is returning to normal, the Ministry of Transport said.
"I would like to draw your attention to the need to monitor compliance with federal aviation regulations for providing food, water, and accommodation to passengers of delayed and canceled flights," Starovoit stressed, his words are quoted in the department's Telegram channel.
According to the Ministry of Transport, 158 flights were canceled at Sheremetyevo Airport over the past 24 hours, 87 flights to Pulkovo, and 12 flights to Nizhny Novgorod. The harbors have now resumed operations. Temporary flight restrictions remain in place at the airports of Ivanovo, Tambov and Yaroslavl.
The day before, about 200 flights were delayed at regional airports in Russia due to security measures. Thus, time restrictions were in effect at the airports of Samara, Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Yaroslavl, Kirov, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
