"Water transport is one of the key sectors of the domestic economy. He makes a significant contribution to strengthening Russia's security and sovereignty, to unlocking the industrial, industrial, and tourism potential of our regions," the telegram says on the Kremlin's website.

The Russian leader clarified that marine and river fleets should effectively respond to the growing needs of Russian companies, the demands of the domestic market, as well as build new logistics routes.
