An engine malfunction caused a hard landing of AN An-2 light aircraft in the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory. This was announced on July 6 by Ilya Gladchenko, Deputy Chita Transport Prosecutor.
"The An-2 aircraft of the Chita DOSAAF Aviation and Sports Club of Russia made a hard landing due to an engine malfunction," Gladchenko said, his video message was published on the Telegram channel of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
According to him, all the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
On July 6, an An-2 aircraft with 11 people on board made a hard landing in the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The regional Ministry of Health reported nine casualties. All the injured were hospitalized in the Trans-Baikal Regional Clinical Hospital.
