Eight people were injured due to the hard landing of the An-2 in Transbaikalia.

Eight people were injured as a result of a hard landing of AN An-2 light-engine aircraft in the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the regional Ministry of Health reported on July 6.

"Four ambulance crews went to the scene. There are only eight victims. Previously, two of them are severe, six are moderate," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

The victims were hospitalized in the Trans-Baikal Regional Clinical Hospital. The Chita Transport Prosecutor's Office has organized an inspection of compliance with flight safety legislation. According to the agency, no one died as a result of the incident.

On July 6, an An-2 aircraft with 11 people on board made a hard landing in the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory. It was clarified that the aircraft landed in the area of the Topograph ski resort 16 minutes after takeoff. 37 people are working at the scene, as well as 12 pieces of equipment.
