An American fighter jet was lifted into the air to intercept a civilian aircraft that entered a restricted flight area. This was announced on July 5 by the press service of the Joint Aerospace Defense Command of North America (NORAD).

It is clarified that the incident occurred over the golf club of US President Donald Trump in New Jersey.

"NORAD intercepted an aircraft that violated the time restrictions on flights (TAR) over Bedminster, New Jersey," a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
