The Social Fund named the average pension size of non-working pensioners

The average pension of non-working pensioners in Russia was slightly more than 24 thousand rubles per month. This was reported to RIA Novosti on July 6, citing data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the average pension amount as of April 1 of this year was 24,019 rubles. At the same time, at the beginning of 2025, the average pension for such pensioners was 23,758 rubles.

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said on July 1 that insurance pensions would be increased for Russians who turned 80 in June. According to the financier, this will be achieved by doubling the fixed pension payment.
