UAV operators destroyed a Ukrainian M777 howitzer in the Kherson region
Crews of unmanned aerial vehicles of the 18th Combined Arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed an American-made M777 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced on July 6 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry added that the operator of the reconnaissance UAV discovered an enemy truck towing an M777 howitzer. After that, the Russian military immobilized the target with several precise drops of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition and struck it with fiber-optic FPV drones.
Drone operators monitor and destroy UAV control points, temporary deployment points and shelters for personnel, artillery pieces, mortars, armored vehicles, ammunition depots and infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with attack drones every day. In addition, they are adjusting the cannon artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
On July 5, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian drone operators had destroyed foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region. It was clarified that the militants were eliminated with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles "Geran-2" in the area of the recreation center "Meridian".
