Israel called the amendments made by Hamas to the Gaza deal unacceptable.

Tel Aviv does not accept the amendments in the Gaza Strip deal proposed by the Palestinian Hamas movement. This was reported on July 5 by the Ynet portal with reference to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"The changes that Hamas wants to make to the Qatari proposal were transmitted to us last night (July 4. — Ed.) and unacceptable to Israel," the portal quotes the statement of the chancellery.
They added that Netanyahu ordered to accept the offer to hold indirect talks and continue contacts on the return of the Israeli hostages based on the Qatari proposal, and therefore the negotiating group will fly to Qatar tomorrow, July 6.
Sky News Arabia TV channel reported on July 5 that the agreement on a cease-fire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel would include guarantees from US President Donald Trump that the parties would not resume hostilities. In addition, the deal will include the withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops from the Palestinian enclave.
