Two people were killed and at least seven injured in a shooting in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the United States. This was reported on July 5 by Fox News channel.

It is noted that police officers arrived at the intersection of West Market and North Illinois streets at about 1:30 (8:30 Moscow time).

"Two people were killed, <...> at least seven people were injured. <...> No information has been released about a potential suspect," the newspaper writes, citing Chris Bailey, chief of the Indianapolis Police Department.

One of the victims was a minor, the WTHR TV channel clarified on YouTube. The investigation of the incident is ongoing.

WSAV-TV reported on July 2 that a shooting occurred in one of the shopping malls in Savannah, Georgia, as a result of which at least six people were injured, one of them in critical condition. It is specified that the shooting was opened by two groups of unknown persons, it began inside the building, and then continued on the street.
