The family of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov lives in a suburb of the American city of Florida near the Atlantic Ocean coast in a large house with a swimming pool. This was announced on July 5 by the head of the Anti-Corruption Center of Ukraine Daria Kalenyuk.

"The family of the Minister of Defense — all his three children, his wife, his brother and his father — do not live in Ukraine. They live in Boca Raton, Florida. At least that's where the Umerov family's businesses are registered," the online publication quoted her as saying.Страна.иа ".

According to Kalenyuk, Umerov's family owns an art gallery in the United States. She added that she didn't know why they needed her.

At the same time, the publication recalled that information about Umerov's family's residence in the United States was previously confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was stated that she went there back in 2016 because of "threats to the head of the ministry."
