The head of the Karabudakhkentsky district of Dagestan, Mahmud Amiraliev, was detained in a fraud case. This was reported on June 5 by the SU IC for the republic in the Telegram channel.

"According to the investigation, the head of the Karabudakhkentsky district offered the director of a commercial organization to conclude a contract for 20% of its value for the construction of a water pipeline for the water supply of the villages of Gubden and Gurbuki in the Karabudakhkentsky district," the agency said in a statement.
