Criminal cases have been opened in the Moscow and Kaluga regions on the fact of fatal electric shock injuries to teenage catchers. This was reported on July 5 in the press service of the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee (MCUT IC). Of Russia.
According to the investigation, a 16-year-old teenager was electrocuted at the Sukhodrev railway station in the Kaluga Region due to hooking while on the roof of an electric train. Shortly before that, a 14-year-old boy, also as a result of his hobby for surfing, received an electric shock at the Perlovskaya railway station in the Moscow region.
It is noted that criminal cases have been initiated into the deaths of two teenagers under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport, resulting in the death of a person by negligence").
"In addition, the investigation will assess the actions of persons who have involved minors in committing acts that pose a danger to life (Article 151.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the agency's Telegram channel says.
On May 28, the press service of the ICU of Russia reported that in the Moscow region, a teenager was injured by electric shock on the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway. It was clarified that he had received an electric shock due to a dangerous hobby of hooking. The victim was hospitalized.
