In the Kherson region, about 33,000 local residents were left without electricity due to an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on an electrical substation. This was announced on June 5 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"After the shelling of the electrical substation, 20 villages in the Toletikhsky and Gornostayevsky districts (33 thousand inhabitants) were left without electricity," Baldo wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to him, specialists are currently carrying out repairs at the scene.

Earlier that day, Baldo reported that a two-year-old child was injured in the urban-type settlement of Novotroitskoye as a result of a Ukrainian drone strike. In addition, three residential buildings were also damaged due to the attack by Ukrainian militants.
