The American investment company BlackRock has stopped the search for investors for its Ukraine reconstruction fund after US President Donald Trump took office in January this year. This was reported by Bloomberg on July 5.

According to the agency, this decision was made against the background of uncertainty regarding the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and the actions of the Trump administration.

BlackRock was supposed to provide information about fundraising at a conference on the restoration of Ukraine on July 10-11 in Italy, which was to be attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the material says.

It is clarified that France is looking for alternatives to BlackRock, but it is not known how effective such an initiative will be without the support of the United States.
