More than 25 apartments were damaged in the UAV attack in Engels

In Engels, Saratov region, more than 25 apartments were damaged as a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on residential buildings. This was announced on July 5 by Governor Roman Busargin.

"More than 25 apartments were damaged (mostly windows were blown out) and more than a dozen cars. <...> It is planned to repair the damage in the apartments in the near future," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor noted that funds necessary to provide assistance to citizens will be allocated from the reserve fund of the region.

Maxim Leonov, the head of the Engels district, was instructed to organize the operation of the hotline, Busargin stressed.

By its actions, the "war party" wants to disrupt peace initiatives, experts say.

Earlier that day, the governor of the Saratov Region reported that residential buildings in Engels and Saratov had been damaged during UAV strikes in the region. According to him, no one was injured in the attack.
