- Farewell to the deceased ex-mayor of the LNR Pilavov began in the church of "Tenderness"

The farewell ceremony for the former head of the administration of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) Manolis Pilavov is taking place in the city center at the church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness". This was announced on July 5 by Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.
The footage shows how residents of the city approach the temple to honor the memory of the deceased.
"Hundreds of people came to the church of "Tenderness", which is located in the very center of Lugansk, to say goodbye to Manolis Pilavov. He was the head of the Luhansk city administration for almost 10 years. Most of the people are just grateful residents who didn't even know Pilavov personally," he said.
Kildibekov added that security has been tightened near the temple: metal detectors have been installed, and police and Rosgvardiya officers are patrolling the territory. According to him, such measures have been taken to ensure that those involved in Pilonov's death do not try to repeat the terrorist act again.
Pilavov died as a result of an explosion of an unknown nature on Taras Shevchenko Street in Luhansk on July 3. Three other people were also injured in the incident, one of them is in serious condition. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into the explosion. The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, expressed confidence that those responsible for the incident will be found and will be punished as they deserve.
