The United States is ready to conclude a deal to purchase the TikTok platform owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. US President Donald Trump told reporters about this on July 5.

According to him, negotiations with China on the purchase of TikTok will begin on Monday, July 7, or Tuesday, July 8.

"We will, in fact, conclude a deal," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.
