The Air Defense forces shot down 12 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia in two hours. This was announced on July 5 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"From 6.00 Moscow time to 8.00 Moscow time, 12 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of an airplane type were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the message on the Telegram channel of the defense ministry said.

Thus, eight UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region, two over the territory of the Ryazan region and one each over the territories of the Orel and Novgorod regions.
