Rosgvardiya special forces destroyed the M109 self-propelled artillery system "Paladin" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. This was announced on July 5 by the press service of the department.

It is specified that Russian intelligence found a camouflaged enemy self-propelled gun "Paladin" in one of the forests in the Sumy direction.

"The UAV operator, skillfully maneuvering the drone between the trees, destroyed the enemy installation with the help of a kamikaze drone," the message says.

The Russian army has started using remote-controlled platforms capable of carrying more than a ton of cargo.

Earlier that day, operators of FPV drones of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a dugout with Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in the area of a special military operation (SVO). The defeat of the AFU point was recorded by the operators using the group's reconnaissance UAV.
