A minor was killed in an accident in the Rostov region.

A minor died on the Rostov–Volgodonsk highway as a result of a collision between two cars in the Rostov region. This was announced on July 5 by the press service of the Main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

According to the agency, the driver of a Hyundai Accent born in 2007 was moving towards Rostov-on-Don and went to overtake the minibus, driving into the oncoming lane. As a result, his car collided with a Mazda.

"As a result of the collision, the driver of the Hyundai Accent car was injured, as well as his passengers — a boy born in 2009 and a girl born in 2009. Another passenger, a boy born in 2008, died in a medical facility from his injuries," the agency wrote on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the driver of the Mazda car received minor injuries. The police opened a criminal case.

On July 3, it was reported that one person was killed in an accident with a minor driver in the Volokolamsk municipal district of the Moscow region. It is specified that the accident occurred on the 2nd kilometer of the Ostashevo - Ivankovo – Brazhnikovo highway, a 15–year-old teenager who does not have a driver's license was driving a VAZ car.
