In the Amur region, a Gazelle Next driver killed a 14-year-old teenager on a bicycle. This was announced on July 5 by the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"It was previously established that at about 22:30 (16:30 Moscow time. — Ed.) on the 35th km of the highway "Entrance to Blagoveshchensk", the driver of the Gazelle Next car, born in 1988, hit a minor cyclist, a young man born in 2011," the Telegram channel said.

The department noted that as a result of the incident, the teenager died on the spot. It is specified that the investigation is currently trying to establish the circumstances of the accident. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules of the Russian Federation, resulting in the death of a person by negligence"). The maximum penalty is up to five years in prison.

On July 4, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Lipetsk region reported that one person was injured in a collision of seven vehicles in the Yelets municipal district on the M-4 Don highway. It was clarified that there was no traffic jam on the road, traffic was moving along a bypass route.
