Irish mixed martial artist, former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Conor McGregor announced on July 4 that he wants to take part in a UFC fight on the territory of the White House.

"I'm thrilled that the President [of the United States Donald] Trump announced the UFC fight at the White House. It would be an honor for me! Sign me up!" he wrote on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

On July 4, Trump announced that a UFC fight would be held on the White House grounds next year, which would be part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. At the same time, the American president did not specify exactly when the competition would take place and who would take part in it.
