On July 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of Russian military personnel in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry drew attention to the actions of Private Vyacheslav Pavlukhin, who is taking part in a special military operation as an artillery calculation number.

So, being at the air surveillance post in the area of the firing position of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Pavlukhin, being vigilant, was able to identify the FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) approaching him. In conditions of poor visibility, he successfully repelled an attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which protected both the cannon of the Russian Armed Forces and its entire unit.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the competent and decisive actions of Junior Sergeant Roman Kozlov, who, during his participation in the special operation, performs combat missions as a senior rifleman of a motorized rifle platoon.

While fulfilling the task of ensuring stable communication with the unit during offensive operations in one of the directions in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), he was able to detect and restore the connection between the Russian motorized rifle unit and the command post damaged during enemy artillery fire.

Thanks to Kozlov's actions, the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces were able to timely report on the situation on the line of contact, enemy movements and the need for food and ammunition supplies.
