External power supply to Zaporizhia NPP has been restored

Externally, the power supply to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) has been restored. This was reported on July 4 in the Telegram channel of the station.
"The 750 kV Dneprovskaya line has been put into operation. <...> Emergency diesel generators have been stopped and put on duty," the statement said.
It is specified that no excess of the radiation background has been recorded. According to Yuri Chernichuk, director of the NPP, there are also no violations in the operation of the station.
Earlier that day, the Zaporizhia NPP lost external power supply due to the shutdown of the Dneprovskaya power transmission line. The station was being powered by diesel generators.
