All the achievements of US President Donald Trump in his second term during his six months in office — whether it is the adoption of a "big, wonderful bill" on the budget or attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities — can turn into serious problems for the head of the White House. This was reported by Bloomberg on July 4.

It is noted that the introduction of the highest import duties on goods to the United States in the last few decades still has a chance to have a strong impact on American consumers, as the trade war is not over. The biggest drop in the dollar since 1973 is also at risk of causing problems for the Trump administration.

In addition, Trump's tightening of migration policy may bring trouble. Agriculture and the hotel industry are particularly vulnerable, as migrants often worked in these industries.

The agency adds that Trump's failure to fulfill his promise to end the conflict in Ukraine and the lack of prospects for an early settlement could create an even greater crisis for him than the one that former US President Joe Biden received when he withdrew troops from Afghanistan in 2021.

It clarifies that Trump's recent achievements as president may also spur the Democratic Party to take more decisive action and give them the opportunity to mobilize the electorate in the next presidential election in 2028.

A day earlier, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported, citing a YouGov poll, that Trump voters are increasingly blaming the current head of state for the current state of the US economy, rather than his predecessor Joe Biden. It is clarified that until last month, respondents were more likely to choose the former president when answering the relevant question.
