- Zelensky submitted to the parliament a draft law on the seizure of almost 1.6 thousand Russian railcars.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the seizure of 1,592 Russian railway wagons. This was reported on the website of the Ukrainian parliament on July 4.
The explanatory note clarifies that the purpose of the initiative is to prevent Russia from controlling the wagons. At the same time, the bill is called an alleged "social necessity."
Thus, the law will approve the decree of the Ukrainian leader "On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated July 2, 2025." Currently, the text of this initiative has not been published.
On March 12, MP Maxim Buzhansky (Servant of the People party) announced that a new bill had been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada proposing to completely ban the use of the Russian language in Ukrainian schools, including during recess. He noted that the essence of the project has not changed since the last attempt to ban the Russian language.
