More than 30 thousand people have received diplomas from Moscow colleges this year, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said. He congratulated the graduates on completing their studies and noted the level of their training.

The mayor stressed that Moscow colleges are "advanced educational platforms where you can get not only relevant knowledge, but also invaluable practice."

"To do this, we are working in tandem with employers: we have already adjusted the curriculum to meet market demands, and we are actively re—equipping college workshops and laboratories," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel. He added that 75% of them will be upgraded by the end of the year, and all classrooms for practical classes will be updated by the end of 2027.

Sobyanin stressed the importance of the fact that 95% of college graduates find a job in their specialty in the first year after graduation. At the same time, the number of partner companies, according to him, exceeds 3.8 thousand and is constantly growing.

"Along with your graduation diplomas, you have received sought—after professions, many of you are already working in your specialty and contributing to the development of the city," Sobyanin wrote, addressing college graduates. He expressed confidence that new professional horizons, interesting projects and the opportunity to prove themselves await them.

Earlier, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Social Development, told Izvestia that 43,000 budget college places had been opened in Moscow.
