Most Russians are willing to spend up to 7 thousand rubles a day on rental housing, analysts at Level Group have found. The study showed that when choosing between a hotel and an apartment, the price becomes the key factor. The results were reviewed by Izvestia on July 7.

According to a study by analysts, 36% of Russians don't really know where to stay.: they will choose an apartment if it turns out to be cheaper than a hotel. The main motivation is saving money. At the same time, 35% of respondents prefer only hotels, and 18% prefer apartment rentals exclusively.

As for the budget, 51% of travelers are willing to pay up to 3 thousand rubles per day for accommodation, 27% — up to 5 thousand, and 13% — up to 7 thousand. Only 2% agree to spend more than 10 thousand rubles, even if the option seems ideal to them.

Thus, for most Russians, the availability of housing is more important than its type, and the main argument remains the price.

"Comparing the daily rent of an apartment and a hotel for trips is increasingly reduced to cost. Every second Russian (50%) is sure that renting an apartment should cost less than a hotel room, another 34% believe that prices should be the same, and only 16% believe that an apartment can cost more," the Level Group's press service comments.

Earlier, on June 17, it was reported that interest in student tourism increased by one and a half times. The Ministry of Education and Science clarified that since the beginning of 2025, 57 thousand participants have registered in the Studtourism program.
