The capital's state traffic inspectorate will conduct raids on the SIM

A preventive event "SIM. The cyclist." This was announced on July 4 by the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate in its Telegram channel.

The purpose of the raid is to prevent accidents and promote compliance with the Rules of the Road by cyclists and persons using personal mobility aids (SIM) for movement. Traffic police officers plan to hold explanatory talks about the basic rules of movement on SIM and bicycles, as well as the use of protective equipment.

Special attention will be paid to the issues of safe movement of young road users on scooters and SIM.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to introduce additional conditions for the sale of pit bikes to minors.

Artem Metelev, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, stated the need to eliminate a gap in legislation and allow pit bikes to be sold only if there is a document on training in a sports organization where such sports equipment can be safely used.
