On July 4, a fragment of the legendary scarlet sails was delivered from St. Petersburg to Kaliningrad by sea across the Baltic.
Every year on graduation day, scarlet sails appear in the waters of the Neva River as a symbol of bold plans, hopes and dreams, escorting Russian schoolchildren into adulthood. Now the fragment, designed in the form of a three-dimensional painting, will be kept in the Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad.
The day before, it was reported that the water pyrotechnic show in the Neva River and the concert of Russian pop stars on Palace Square as part of the alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails - 2025" were seen by more than 45 million people who followed the broadcast on television, online and on street screens in major cities.
