The Russian government has suspended the accrual of tax penalties for the mobilized

The Russian government has suspended the accrual of penalties on taxes and insurance premiums for conscripts for the period of military service. This is stated on July 4 in a decree signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The document cited by RIA Novosti clarifies that the decision applies to mobilized citizens and organizations in which the mobilized person is the head and at the same time the sole founder.
The exemption from payment of penalties will be valid not only during military service, but also for several more months after its completion. Namely— until the 28th day (inclusive) of the third month after the end of military service.
The resolution is relevant for legal relations that have been formed since September 21, 2022. The new solution is part of a set of additional measures to support mobilized citizens and entrepreneurs.
On June 30, Mishustin noted that Russia was fine-tuning the support system for participants in the special military operation (SVO), as instructed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He noted that the Government of the Russian Federation supports the initiative of parliamentarians to exempt participants of their activities and their family members from paying state duty when applying to the court.
