The results of the V Forum "Strong ideas for a new age" were summed up

The V forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age", which took place on July 2-3, 2025 at the site of the National Center "Russia" in Moscow, summarizes the results of the work. The event was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation in cooperation with VEB.Russian Federation, gathered more than 1,500 participants. The key goal of the Forum is to select and implement promising ideas that will make a significant contribution to the development of the country.

The key event of the Forum was a plenary session with the participation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. He noted that the high public mission of the Forum is to serve the disclosure of talents and the enormous creative potential of Russian citizens.

"We have managed to build a unique platform, a unique mechanism for the development of individual industries, production, the economy as a whole, and therefore the whole of Russia in recent years. I would like to note that thousands of the best ideas receive concrete support every year. Their teams and leaders are provided with the educational and methodological assistance necessary for further development, and 100 of the most significant initiatives are sent to the Government, ministries, departments, and regions of the Russian Federation for their use in formulating system solutions," said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The best ideas were presented to the President of the Russian Federation during the plenary session of the Forum. The project leaders are researchers, employees of the agricultural sector and the environmental non–profit sector, as well as cultural and creative environment.

The solutions affected the control of water consumption and the planting of forest belts; the creation of an innovative natural resource management system using drones, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies; the creation of modular robots capable of moving inside pipelines; the implementation and promotion of a network of inclusive film clubs.

The annual nature of the forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" highlights the effectiveness of its work mechanisms: it selects the most promising ideas to improve the quality of life of citizens and promote national goals. The idea behind the Forum has already gathered a community of thousands of initiative citizens around it.

"The crowd platform is an idea.Roscongress.The Russian Federation, through which promising ideas are collected and evaluated, is not just a technological tool, but a powerful mechanism for identifying initiatives that can bring real benefits. The best projects receive comprehensive support, from presentations to investors to information promotion, from development institutions at the federal and regional levels, administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and partners. Over the years of the Forum, about 600,000 people have already registered on the crowd platform, and the total number of submitted ideas has exceeded 120,000. This confirms the high level of civic engagement. Participation in the Forum of federal and regional authorities, NGOs and leading experts ensures the implementation of the strongest ideas in the real socio‑economic agenda – strong projects are implemented through joint efforts. The authors become participants of the largest international business events: These are the SPIEF, the WEF, and the CMU. Great opportunities are open for them," said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee.

This year, the Forum received more than 35,000 ideas in five areas of ASI's activities: social, entrepreneurial, human resources, technological, as well as environmental and climate national initiatives. The social trend has become the most popular again, collecting almost half of the total number of ideas.

The business program of the first day included discussion sessions and presentations of initiatives. Not only the leaders of the ideas of 2025, but also those of previous years, who have already successfully announced their projects, took part. During the sessions, they exchanged practices and developed new approaches to the implementation of significant public projects.

In total, more than 1,500 people from 10 countries took part: Germany, India, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Cyprus, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Switzerland. Among the participants are about 800 representatives of Russian and foreign businesses from more than 600 organizations, as well as governors and heads of republics. At the same time, more than 2.5 million viewers watched the online broadcasts.
