The Park of Light festival will be held on July 4 and 5 at Moscow's Severny Rechnoy Vokzal. The facade of the historic building, the embankment and the park space around it will become a single light installation, Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry, said.

"For two days, guests will enjoy multimedia shows, as well as a rich free entertainment program on land and water," Liksutov said.

The territory of the Northern River Station will be divided into five thematic zones, each of which symbolizes the seas. It is with them that the capital is connected through a system of canals: the White, Baltic, Black, Azov and Caspian. Entrance to each zone is free.

A pavilion with simulators will be located in the White Sea space, which will be open from 15:00 to 00:00 Moscow time. Festival guests will be able to learn interactively about the value of water as a part of urban life, the environmental friendliness and technology of river transport, as well as the role of Moscow as a center of waterways.

The Caspian Sea zone will host creative workshops for children on creating sand paintings, weaving baubles and painting boats, and other activities.

In the evening on July 4 and 5, a large-scale light projection show "Moscow — the port of Five Seas" will be shown on the facade of the Northern River Station, starting at 22 Moscow time.). A theatrical show "Waterway" will be held on the embankment with music, light fountains and dancing on special platforms on the water.
