The Polish Foreign Ministry announced damage to the embassy building in Kiev.


In Kiev, the consular section of the Polish Embassy was allegedly damaged. This was announced on July 4 by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
"The building of the consular department of the embassy was damaged. <...> I just spoke with Ambassador [Peter] Lukasevich, everyone is alive and well," the head of the ministry wrote on the social network X (former. Twitter).
Sikorsky did not provide any photos or videos to prove the damage.
On June 28, outgoing Polish President Andrzej Duda paid a farewell visit to Kiev. During the trip, the politician met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called Duda a great friend of the country and thanked him for his help and support.
