The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the possibility of holding talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia

Russia is ready to consider Saudi Arabia as a platform for new negotiations with the United States in coordination with Washington. This was stated on July 4 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

"We are ready to consider this hospitable, friendly platform, as we already did in February [during negotiations between Russia and the United States]," the Russian minister said.

According to Lavrov, if new contacts between Moscow and Washington are planned in the future, then after coordination with the White House, it will be possible to hold a meeting in Saudi Arabia.
